BUTTE, Mont. - Butte-Silver Bow Law Enforcement announced Tuesday that this year's Shop with a Cop event has been canceled due to COVID-19.
"This event and all the joy that comes from it will be truly missed this year," the police department wrote in a Facebook post. "Due to Covid, we felt it best to cancel and keep our community safe."
Shop with a Cop makes monetary donations to both Toys for Tots and the Mining City Christmas program each year.
