GREAT FALLS, Mont. - Malstrom Air Force Base is running training operations for their Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Tuesday April 6 on the base.
There will be two controlled explosions from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
"The EOD unit’s purpose is to detect, disarm and dispose of explosive threats," MAFB said in a release.
EOD training occurs regularly for safety and security reasons of Malmstrom’s Intercontinental Ballistic Missile mission.Â
