ABOVE 4000 FEET...

* WHAT...Heavy snow occurring above 4000 feet. Additional snow
accumulations of 3 to 6 inches above 4000 feet, with 6 to 10
inches above 6000 feet. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Cascade and Meagher.

* WHEN...Until 9 PM MST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, especially on United
States Highway 89 from Sluice Boxes State Park to White Sulphur
Springs. Patchy blowing snow could significantly reduce
visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snowfall rates in the Little Belt mountains
could approach 2 to 3 inches per hour for several hours this
morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
