Bed and Breakfast to go Before Whitefish City Council

KALISPELL-  Plans for a new bed and breakfast will go before the City of Whitefish on Monday during a public hearing.

Ryan Zinke and his family are working with the Whitefish Planning board to get approval on a bed and breakfast. The Snow Frog Inn will feature six bedrooms for guests, a kitchen, a living room space and lodge area where customers can relax. Ryan said the idea of turning a single-family home into a bed and breakfast will help restore the northern corridor of the city.

"Whitefish needs an investment on this corridor and this is part of it. This is part of restoring Whitefish the interest into Whitefish and it's no longer residential the interest is and a b&b fits,"  Zinke said.

The City Council will hold a hearing on the proposal Monday at 7 p.m.  in the City Hall Chambers located on Second Street West in Whitefish.
