AUGUSTA- After more than two months of waiting, the bridge along Montana Highway 21 near Augusta is finally open for travelers. The bridge officially opened on Friday. You may remember it collapsed in June after heavy rainfall and snowmelt flooded rivers and creeks around the town, and it's been closed ever since. According to the Montana Department of Transportation, the bridge was paid for by the MDT's Federal Aid Program

U.S. Senator Jon Tester appeared on the Congress floor to convince Congress they need to address the wildfires in Montana and across the west. The House just voted to approve the $7.9 billion Harvey aid package, so Tester pointed out another disaster happening in the country that needs federal attention.
