BILLINGS - We reached out to School District Two Superintendent Greg Upham to see when educators in Yellowstone County would be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. 

 During School District Two's board meeting Monday, board members unanimously voted to extend Superintendent Greg Upham's contract through the school year of 2024.

BILLINGS - Three families and the entire Billings West High School community are mourning the loss of Conner Devere, Kylie Larsen and Tommy Lindsay, after they were killed in a car crash Friday night.

School District Two board members will be reviewing Superintendent Greg Upham's performance Monday and voting on whether to extend his contract until 2024.

Billings Superintendent reiterates there are no plans at this time to shift the district fully to online learning.

A New York Times article published Tuesday put a spotlight on Billings Public Schools, claiming the school district is trying to mitigate the spread of coronavirus by shuffling students around every 15 minutes.

Superintendent Greg Upham says students will no longer be allowed at SD2 sporting events going forward due to the recent surge of cases in Yellowstone County. However, the district will continue to allow two spectators for each student participating in an activity during a sporting event.

A single mom now has to stay home from work to be with her son after he was exposed to COVID-19 at school. She says she wants School District 2 to do more to keep kids safe, but the district says they're doing all they can.

Only three days into the school year, students have faced altered classrooms, schedule changes, and mask requirements.
