Since mid June, Governor Steve Bullock has declared three emergencies and three disasters surrounding the drought and fires this summer. He says we are facing an unprecedented fire season, affecting many Montanans. One person is dead and Highway 12 was shut down for hours after a violent crash just outside East Helena. MHP Trooper Amanda Villa says a sedan was traveling eastbound while a semi truck was traveling westbound on Highway 12.  T

Local business and residents found that the Harrison Avenue construction is a bit hard to commute around. The Public Works Department said that the intersection at Harrison and Holmes Avenue is the busiest in Butte. Some car drivers are annoyed by driving through this intersection everyday.
